Can this light be rotated?
Yes.

We need to position the light 45cm from the centre point. This seems very close given the illustrations. Is it possible?
The diameter of the shade alone is 500mm, and when factored in with the minimum extension length, it is around 500mm total.

Could I use my own shade that weighs 950 grams?
We cannot say whether another shade will fit as that's not been tested, however, it would be able to support a weight of 950 grams as the recommended shades weight 2.2kg.

Will this product work for 110v electricity in the United States?
This product will not function in the US, unfortunately.
