Birds Birds Birds - Large Pendant

Birds Birds Birds was designed by Ingo Maurer in 1992.  It consists of 24 arms each carrying a special halogen bulb of 10 watts.  The lamp itself is held inside what looks like a normal Edison Screw E27 lamp on which sits goose-feathers to resemble a bird in flight. Each arm is held onto the central stem by flexible wire which can be turned, twisted or stretched as required to suit your space.  This flex is available as transparent or red/blue option.

 

A beautiful pendant that will illuminate a space with interest and intrigue. The birds seem to take flight and will create an interesting light pattern on the wall.  This fitting is great for the higher ceilings but not suitable for rooms with high humidity.
