Umarell Ceramic Wall Light with Man by Giorgio Biscaro

An 'Umarell' is a term popular in Bologna, Italy referring specifically to men of retirement age who pass the time watching construction sites and building works – stereotypically with hands clasped behind their back. This wall light is based upon those very same men. The statue is easily screwed into one of two positions; either left or right of the wall light. 

Let these men watch the world go by while perched on the ridged light and choose from three designs, sitting, standing or leaning. You can, of course, choose to install more than one of a design allowing you to create a true design feature on your wall as well as lighting.

Place these either sides of a bed perhaps as an unusual funky bedside light, or in your hallway to greet your guests. 

At the top and bottom of this fitting a circular diffuser that allows light to be evenly spread above and below the fitting, creating a soft shadow on the statue - highlighting the detail.

The front design is a butter paddle fluted design that tapers back to the wall.

Complete with integral warm white, 3000°k LED lamps. One uplighting, the other downlighting. Both wash the wall. 

LED details - top 7.35 watts giving 958 lumens, bottom 2.4 watts giving 324 lumens.

The dimensions given under the specification tag are for the wall fixture without any figures in place. Figures can be used on either side or if you choose on both sides.
