Power lead 1800mm long and UK plug. The flex can be cut off for hard wiring but you will be left with the hole in the base.

The shade has a diameter of 32mm and comes complete with a 4W LED lamp which is non-replaceable, however with an average lamp life of 30,000 hours this should not pose a problem.

Located near the bottom of the wall bracket is a small switch to turn the light on and off. Please note this button is black on the white fitting.

The LED bulb in this has a lifetime of 30,000 hours. At 1 hour a night this is just over 82 years so by all means don`t limit yourself to 1 hour.

The light output comes from a Safety Extra Low Voltage supply built into the housing. It just needs a mains supply. You can`t compare a narrow beam spotlight with a 40w lamp but rest assured this reading light gives a bright and intense light suitable for reading i.e. bright enough.
