Arco Floor Lamp with Marble Base by Flos

A stunning, icon floor lamp that has been around since the 1960s which provides direct light. You will no doubt have seen this fitting in many locations and not realised you were looking at an iconic Arco lamp by Flos.  As well as providing downward ambient lighting the top creates an interesting light display when it shines through the holes. The designer's idea was that they wanted to create a lamp that shined light onto a table and, whilst they of course existed, you had to walk around such a floor lamp before reaching the table.  So, their idea was to design something that left enough space at the base and at least two metres away.  So with this thinking, Arco was created! An ingenious idea that truly works as a great intimate light.

This giant floor lamp could be used as shown or placed over a dining table to provide intimate lighting. With a Carrara marble base with a satin-finish stainless steel telescopic stem.

Marble base width: 240mm x height 550mm.

The footswitch is on a power cord, length 270cm.

NEW there is now a LED version of the classic Arco floor lamp with a 30w warm white LED lamp which is dimmable.
