my current covers have broken and I only wish to purchase the covers- is this possible?
Unfortunately spare covers are not available for this fitting.

Could I have 12? As that's how many existing lights I already have. We bought the wrong lights and they are too bright an I wish to change them.
These come in packs of 4 and so you could use 3 kits to recreate your 12 lights.

What is the length of cable between each light
Maximum spacing between each light: 1900mm. Lead to first light: 2600mm.

How many additional lights can be added to a single unit? Thanks.
Up to a total of ten lights can be used on one power supply.

I recently purchased the LED Square Plinth Light Pack and a note with it states that ¬the external flexible cable of this luminaire cannot be replaced if damaged the luminaire will be destroyed¬. However, the ¬questions and answers¬indicate that the power cables can be extended or shortened. Can you confirm that the term ¬flexible cable¬ refers only to the cable from the plug and it is possible to cut and insert additional cable between two of the LED squares?

Can the power cables be either reduced or extended in length and not effect the lights performance
Extending the flex on a head by a metre or two will make no difference. If longer than this replace as much of the flex as possible with a thicker flex to avoid lower output through voltage drop off.

Hello, I was just wondering what the total length of cable is that comes with this product? I need it to be 9-10ft long, and was wondering if lights comes with this much cable?
Cable from power point to first light measures 2600mm, each light can then be spaced up to a maximum distance of 1900mm from the next. In old money this equates to: 8.53ft of cable from power point to first light, plus an additional potential span of over 18ft when using the 4x light fittings supplied in the kits.

How can I wire these lights to be operated by a light switch?
The LED kit comes with a plug top DC power supply. This would be typically plugged into a socket behind or under the kitchen cupboards and may be operated by a fused spur. If you want to operate the lights via your existing light switch the wiring from your lighting circuit could be routed to a new dedicated socket - then simply plug in the power supply.

How do I pass a 900mm cooker which is fitted with its own vented plinth? Is it safe to run the cable under the cooker and continue where the next plinth continues?
Yes it would be safe, the supply to the LEDs is low voltage and the wire is a very small diameter. If the oven rolls out for cleaning we`d suggest it is located at the back - saves it being run over by the casters.
