LED Light Strip for Cupboards & Wardrobes with Twin Sensor

If you have wall cabinets, floor units or wardrobes with a double door then a light with a sensor at one end is not ideal as you will probably have to open both doors to get the light to switch on. This wardrobe light has two sensors, one at each end, allowing you to open either door and the light comes on.

The light is 56cm wide so will work in 60cm, 80cm and 100cm cabinets and wardrobes as it gives an impressive 400 lumens of warm white 3000°k light and uses only 5.5 watts of electricity. 

Operation:
There is a sensor at each end - (see images) and these turn on the light when the door opens and turns off when the door is closed.

The light should be mounted no more than 20mm from the front of the cabinet.

Each end has a thin 2-core wire that powers the sensor. If you only need one sensor to operate you can remove the wire on the other end. If you would like both sensors to operate you will need to connect both of the wires to the 12v supply.

A length of small conduit is supplied to make it easier to route the cables to the back of the cabinet. The light is fixed in place at either end and a plastic cover for the screw is included. 

This is a 12v DC-powered LED strip. At home, you will require a LED driver to provide the low voltage required. In caravans, motorhomes and boats you may be able to use the 12v supply from the leisure battery.
