£12.98 inc VATThe challenge of late for retro fit LED lamps has been to deliver a decent amount of light from a lamp the same size and shape as a GU10 mains halogen lamp. Well the challenge has been met by this lamp that is described by many as a replacement for a 50w mains halogen lamp. As LED technology has progressed Osram have built these to not require the 'finned' heat distributing design of other LED lamps, making installation that little bit easier!

The LED mains lamp with GU10 base is the same length, diameter and shape as a standard halogen lamp.
Technical details:
It comes in a warm white colour (2700ºk) with colour rendering Ra80. The lamp gives a 350 lumens output at 4.6 Watts. The nett result? A right size LED lamp giving a highly respectable 53 lumens per watt. 350 Lumens is close approaching the output of a Philips GU10 halogen lamp at 385 lumens.

I previously bought Osram LED Star GU10 6.5W bulbs from you (part code RADPPAR1650). Since these no longer appear on your web site, can you tell me what the up to date replacement would be please?

Does the bulb light to full intensity at switch on, or does it take time to warm up. I intend to use in a PIR switched outdoor light. |
