£232.00 inc VATElectronic DC transformer designed for use with the 12v tension wire system. This transformer capacity is 300va meaning it will run six 50w lamps or eight 35w lamps without any issues. Can be placed behind cupboards so not to be seen.
On some lighting circuits a Type C MCB may have to be used to avoid tripping because of the higher current associated with this type of transformer - these only cost a few pounds.
Suitable for loads between 50 and 300 watts.
Overload and overheating protection.
Dimmable with many dim signals.
Offered in white or matt chrome (coated aluminium (RAL 9006) finish)
IMPORTANT NOTE: when installing the cable into the 12v output ensure they have a good connection. Cables that are not sufficiently secured create resistive connections which may cause excessive heating or fire. We recommend tinning the cable with solder for a good connection. Periodic checking of the tightness of any connections is recommended.
