This is a square thick glass downlight available as either mains or fire rated option. The fire rated fitting provides protection for up to 90 minutes.

A modern and stylish fitting perfect for the modern bathroom ceiling. IP65 rated providing protection from projected water and also dust tight, making it suitable for bathroom zones 1, 2 and 3.

This fitting requires 1 x 50w GU10 mains halogen lamp.

Lamps are not included.

bathroom is 2.200 x 2.200 is one of these lights sufficient? ( for use in bathroom)
We would typically suggest 3 or 4 down lights in that size space. You are not going to achieve much light with a single downlight and will create big shadows. Have you considered using a ceiling light from our bathroom section instead?

I see this fitting is safe on the ceiling above a shower. Does this fit onto the surface of the ceiling as a slightly raised flush light- not built into the ceiling ? Also how do I order a LED version ? Would I need to change anything to use LED bulbs with it ?
56mm of the fixture is recessed in the ceiling - see the diagram for more information. You can use GU10 LED lamps that are the same size as a halogen GU10 lamps in this fixture.
