Aluminium Low Level Recessed LED Spot

A robust LED marker light with high IP rating for wet areas, aluminium with a high-performance Osram chipset inside, boasting a high Colour Rendering Index (CRI) of 90. This indicates that the light emitted is of a quality that reveals the true colours of objects, closely mimicking natural light.

This heavy-duty construction makes the light fitting appropriate for high-traffic areas, able to withstand the rigours of busy environments. Its design is also suitable for places prone to liquid spills, adding to its versatility. The light can be installed at low levels to create a subtle lighting effect, suitable for pathways or accent lighting in both indoor and outdoor settings.

The fixture offers two light outputs. When connected to a 700mA driver the fixture uses 2watts and gives 150 lumens, while the use of a 350mA driver reduces the output to 1watt and 75 lumens. The bezel diameter of 27mm (similar to 2 pence coin) and minimal projection of 2mm provide a sleek, unobtrusive appearance.

With a compact design, it requires only a 22mm hole for direct fixing or a 25mm hole if opting for the supplied concrete-in housing. The depth is 45mm, including a waterproof cable entry, ensuring a snug fit. The toughened frosted glass is rated to IK08, signifying high resistance to impact and wear.

Built-in fixing clips and the option to use additional sealant for wet room installations enhance the fixture's adaptability. The prewiring with 2 metres of two-core rubberised flex adds to the convenience of installation.

Rated IP67, the light is protected against water projection and is dust-tight, making it an excellent choice for bathrooms or outdoor applications where weather resistance is key. When installed in the ground, it is recommended to have free-draining materials below the fixture to maintain its integrity.
