Vintage is referred to as anything over 100 years old. These pleasing lights are new but have a look of the by-gone era when lighting was designed with porcelain, metal or glass (with shades) in order to protect the candle flames. Of course when electricity was introduced new lighting concepts were designed however it is nice to be able to acquire lighting from that period which will work well in the traditional or modern home providing a certain je ne sais quoi.
