The description for this light states that it takes halogen capsule lamps. Can it take LED replacement bulbs?
This fitting can only use Halogen lamps.

Is this dimmable? Can it be adjusted to a maximum drop of 55 cm?
The fitting is not dimmable. The height can be adjusted between 24cm - 160cm at the time of installaton.

Please recommend best type of bulb ie duration of life, cost etc.
This fitting takes G4 lamps and, if you use LED as we recommend (which range from c£6 to £10) they will have an average life span of around 30,000+ hours.

The max drop is 1600m but is there a minimum drop?
The minimum drop can be almost whatever you choose (as in each suspension can be adjusted at installation) however you would not want to make them too short as the fitting would lose the aesthetic appeal. We would suggest no less than say a metre.

What size are the glass pendants?
Each singular pendant has a diameter of 13cm.

What is the dimensions of the chrome ceiling plate?
The ceiling plate is 260mm in diameter.

Is this suitable for dimming?
Yes this fitting is dimmable when dimmable halogen lamps are used.
