The SuperArchimoon floor lamp by Flos stands at 2140mm in high. Designed by Philippe Starck originally as a promotional piece for a lighting show but as many visitors fell in love with this statement piece, placing orders at the show, this is now available to the general public.

Standing at over 2 metres high and fully flexible just like the desk lamp but weighing 90Kg!

The 550mm diameter shade is made from plisse cloth, with a glass acid etched glass diffuser to the underside. Provides direct and indirect light. On/off switch with 0-100% dimmer.

All metalwork is textured silver grey paint.

What materials is this light made from?
This shade for this fitting has an acid-etched hand blown pressed borosilicate glass internal diffuser and a plisse cloth external diffuser (puckered finish given to fabric by treating it with a caustic soda). It has a sand-cast aluminium diffuser support and is of grey painted assembly composed of tubular aluminium arms and tie rods, stainless steel springs and die-cast aluminium joints. Finally it has a sand-cast aluminium base with six lead counterweights and a grey painted spun aluminium base cover and a polarized power cord covered with silver fabric.
