It can also be used as a standalone wall light if required, it does not have to be installed above a mirror.

Pick the length that suits your needs. Then decide how bright you would like the lighting in your space. The LED versions give a soft light, whereas the fluorescent versions give a decent amount of light, use light with a high colour rendering and ar cheaper (there's no hiding the editor's preferred choice).
Fluorescent
All T5 fluorescent versions have lamps operating on high-frequency flicker-free control gear giving instant light with low running costs.
Fluorescent lamps are not supplied with the lamp - a move that allows you to choose the colour temperature that suits your needs. Only order the wattage given on the product title.
LED
