Japandi-Style Light Pendant - Scandi Functionality & Japanese Minimalism

This is a large, geometric lampshade that will fill a room but will not block the view as it measures 850mm in diameter yet only 220mm high. Created by Danish designer Asger Risborg the pendant is as light as a cloud yet is both both complex and simple whilst creating a very soft light that fills the room in a calm, uniform way.

The term Japandi is the blending of the smooth and modern lines of Scandinavian design with the functional yet sleek elegance of Japanese design. The term means both minimalist yet welcoming. Using neutral tones and lots of textures and natural materials, in essence everything this beautiful pendant displays.

Comes with 3 metres of cable so will work on high ceilings, this can be shortened at time of installation.

Manufactured in DuPont's™ Tyvek® which is a unique non-woven material and consists of 100% high density polyethylene fibers randomly laid and compressed to form a remarkably tough printing substrate that is ideal for applications where durability and tear resistance is of prime importance. Whilst very strong the shade has a creased appearance.

Designed for use with E27 mains lamps up to 25 watts each, use LED for energy efficiency.
