Description

A best-seller via the showroom and website, these long drop pendants are striking in their design.

With eight shades these pendants are perfect for a high ceiling or atrium, the maximum suspension drop is 2800mm. The flexes can be adjusted at the time of installation to suit your ceiling requirements, each can be altered independently to give you your own design choice. They look really good in-situ and have been installed in stairwells to great effect.

With a choice of either black, white or chrome finish all with opal glass at the bottom. Providing a direct downward light.

Please note that the white variant now has a white ceiling rose.

Each metal shade measures 600mm high and 50mm in diameter. The glass part of the shade is 30mm high.

What is the minimum drop on these lights?
The minimum drop would be around 630mm, however, it may lose the effect of the fitting if it doesn't have different elevations.

I’m just about to order the long drop 8 and wanted to ask can you provide led rather than halogen?
These suspension lights can of course be used with LED lamps. We have now added a few options from which you can select. Sorry for the omission.

Are you able to replace the bulbs? Do they take LEDs?
Yes, the bulbs can be replaced and LED lamps can be used.

Yes, This would be bright enough for a large stairwell.

What is the colour of the flex on the black variant? Is the white coloured variant glossy or matt?
The flex is black on the black variant, and the white variant has a glossy finish.

Including the arms, the ceiling rose measures 260mm.

Could you advise what colour the flex is on the white 8 fluted light?
The white version of this fitting has a clear flex.

The round ceiling plate is 160mm in diameter - that said each drop comes from a steel tube that projects out from the ceiling plate.

Can the halogen bulbs be replaced by G9 LED bulbs?
Yes you can use LED lamps in this fitting.

Would this light work if it was fitted on a volted slope ceiling on a stair well, Need height but finding it difficult to get a light that hang well
Yes it will safely attach, the slope will cause the round distribution of the shades to squash slightly but not enough to ruin the effect of the light.

Is it really impossible to reduce the height on this Long fluted 8 shade light?
Sorry typo! You can of course reduce the height to suit your needs.
