When planning lighting for a room, we are all guilty of focusing our attention on our eye line and above. However, this often means that we neglect to consider lighting at lower levels, such as adding plinth lighting to our kitchens. To create a lighting feature in the plinth (the kick board underneath your kitchen cabinetry), individual or strips of lights are fixed into the kick panel making a fantastic illuminated feature of the plinth itself, and providing a soft glow around the cabinets and flooring.
