If your bathroom has existing large downlights with R63 or R80 lamps you can now replace them with this modern 12v downlight suitable for use in zones 1 and 2 in the bathroom. Easily covers holes left by larger reflector lamp fittings.
This conversion kit contains a recessed downlight with an oversize bezel (150mm) suitable for easy coverage of an existing hole from 70-140mm in diameter. To ensure a good fit the position of the rat clips can be moved. For larger holes the clips are reversed (see images).
Available in two finishes: polished chrome or polished brass. Can be used with any MR16 halogen lamp up to 50W, suitable for LED and energy saving lamps. Can be re-lamped from below - just undo the three nuts.
IP65 rated, suitable for bathroom zones 1, 2 and 3 offering protection from water projected from a nozzle.
Please note a transformer is required.

Is it likely that these will ever be available in white again?
Do you recommend any non dimmable Led lamps to go in these fittings and if so any recommended Transformers/Drivers
Transformer with or without tails - what is difference and can I combine with LED bulb?
