I am currently looking to replace a patio uplight. The current ones are 8 cm.
The bezel is 105mm in diameter, (its widest part). The body of the light fixture fits into a hole 80mm in diameter. The stainless steel flange sits on top of the hole cut. We will send you an email with some suggestions of smaller fixtures.

What is the depth/length of the fitment?
The depth is 150mm, with a projection of 13mm above.

The round bit in the middle adjacent to the bulb looks as if it is made of a different material (it looks brass coloured). Please advise.
The metal is stainless steel only, we believe the image appears as two different colours as it is the reflection of the light from the lamp in the recess.

When installing exterior luminaires how is it possible to prevent the build up of condensation over time. Is there something that can be done when installing the luminaires in the first instance.
The normal process is to seal any hole, such as wire inputs, with a weatherproof sealant. Any IP rated exterior light will be designed with condensation in mind so that if any does get in it will not affect the fitting or produce any safety risk. With exterior ground lights we`d suggest cutting the hole as snug as possible and sealing the join or dropping in a weatherproof housing, otherwise water can build up in the hole and slowly submerge the fitting, causing trouble if it is rated below IP68.
