There are many benefits when using LED lamps. Safe to touch - they give off next to no heat and will not overheat you if you have a dozen of these in one fitting! They have a much longer lamp life, instead of 2,000 hours you will expect to get well over 25,000 hours of lamp life as well as saving money on your energy bills.
This is a 4w LED lamp so equivalent to a 40w halogen lamp and has 440 lumens.
Please note however this lamp is not dimmable.
