A Danish designed cast aluminium cube sandblasted and in anodised silver grey. For those generating their own electricity by wind power we have good news. Inside this fitting is a 9 watt energy saving CFL lamp giving the same light output as a 40w incandescent lamp. To the underside of the fitting is a sandblasted diffuser providing downward light.

The rear mounting plate is made from clear acrylic allowing light to emit from the back of the fitting giving the little box a floating effect.

Being IP54 rated this light is perfect for the outdoors, providing protection from splashed water.

Comes complete with a non-dimmable lamp.

Could this light be fitted with an LED bulb.
This fitting is designed for a E27 CFL lamp (Length 119mm. diameter 40mm.) as long the LED E27 lamp is no more that 8w and is the same dimensions as the CFL it would be fine.

Hi, I am a little confused? Is this a 240v mains light?
This is a mains fitting. 240v that uses a low energy lamp.

Would this be suitable for gate pillars?
As long as the wall light fits on the pillar then there is no problem, It`s IP54 rated, and takes a compact Fluorescent lamp which is low heat.

Would the cube light be suitable to be positioned from a ceiling in a porch. ? If not what products would be suitable - looking for a modern feel ?
This fitting is not going to work on a ceiling unless it is fitted into the corner between wall and ceiling. A more suitable product can be found here
