Retail & Display Lighting - Where to Start

Retail and display lighting will often need to cover a huge area. First, think about general illumination for the overall premises, then consider the need for more focused lighting to punch through the ambient lighting. Specific lighting will also be required for windows, or point of promotion, including lighting for over counter or payment points. The right colour rendering will also be needed especially if you are selling clothing, the customer will want to see the items in daylight lighting. Of course signage or feature lighting will need to be factored into scheme - there is a lot to be taken into consideration.
