Lighting For Break Out Areas

A break out area should be separate from where employees work to promote free-thinking and expressionism. It is a space used for informal meetings or simply to get away from a workstation. The area provides the opportunity to do something different with lighting so give thought to softer and indirect lighting to provide interesting lighting and an airy space.

Remember this should be dynamic area and perhaps also a representation of management style. If you promote free-thinking then use some funky or big and bold lighting. Remember it is not your usual working area!
