The idea is quite simple, a plain white light lamp is housed in the tree pot at the base. This has a slow rotating multi-colour disc in front of the lamp through which the light travels and then down long strands of glass. The light bounces all the way down the glass and is emitted at the end of these tails. Simple idea, great application, great effect.
