Can these be used with Phillips Hue smart e27 bulbs?
Yes we see no reason as to why this wouldn't work.

Can this ceramic light be used in the bathroom?
Pretty much any light fixtures can be used in un-zoned areas (previously called zone 3) of the bathroom. Zones 0,1 & 2 however require a degree of protection from splashed water - see our bathroom section for more details of zones in bathroom and wetrooms. That said even in un-zoned areas you should be concious that high humidity and condensation present in bathrooms without good ventilation may damage the finish or cause corrosion.

In theory you could mount this fitting as close to the ceiling as you like, but over an extended period of time if it is right up against the ceiling you may find that the heat from the lamp scorches the paint on your ceiling. I would therefore suggest leaving a space of at least 200mm. The fitting uses a mains voltage lamp and is dimmable.
