Wrought Iron and Rustic Finish Chandeliers

These chandeliers traditionally use metal hoops to create grand and gothic fittings but more contemporary designs now use intricate and ornate metalwork which add beautiful curves or geometric cages. All these lights will make a striking centrepiece in any space, especially the larger fittings. Perfect for installation in barn conversions or rooms with double height ceilings and ideal for placement in living spaces, kitchens, atriums or over dining tables. With many different designs to choose from, some more rustic than others, you will be sure to find one that suits your space perfectly.

Interested in the history of these lights? They were first used in the 14th century to provide a consistent light source to large spaces. The design has not changed much since those early days except the candles have been swapped out for electric lamps. You no longer have to clean up the mess of melted wax and they can be illuminated at the flick of a switch! However, one thing remains the same, the finished product is still very much based upon the skill of the metalworker.
