This is a classic light from Tobia Scarpa designed in 1968 - yes that long ago yet still manages to look new and fresh. How can you not love this stunning table lamp with its sleek yet unusual design? Iconic yet fresh.  The lamp body is carved from a single block of Carrara marble. This marble is typically white or blue-grey of a high quality and is popular for use in sculpture and building decor. The marble is quarried at the city of Carrara in the province of Massa and Carrara in the Lunigiana, the northernmost tip of modern-day Tuscany, Italy.
