Supplied with an integrated LED light using only 6 watts. Long lamp life means no maintenance, reduced heat and lower running costs.

Unlike the new kids on the block this shaver light is switchable between 110v and 240v for the shaver and US shaver plugs will fit the shaver socket. Inside is a safety isolating transformer rated at 1 amp to protect you if you do something daft!

The shaver socket in this fitting will only operate when the light is switched on so if you wish to charge your toothbrush overnight with the light off we would suggest you look at another model.

IP20 rated for bathroom zone 3. Has pull cord operation to switch on and off.

Is the transformer/drive inside the unit or out?
It is integrated inside the fitting.

I have this light and the light cover is broken can I just purchase the cover budget friendly led shaver light cover?
I am very sorry but this is sold as a unit, we do not have spares of the diffuser. I will check however to see if we have a cover in the warehouse and get back to you.

Is there an alternative diffuser or cover for this lamp? In particular something more opaque.

I need to replace a shaver light which was screwed to the wall above the mirror. The existing screw holes in the wall are 205mm apart. Will this model fit same screw holes ?
The mounting holes for this fitting are 170mm apart, however the length of the fitting will cover your old screw holes so no need to fill and paint them.

What bathroom zone is this light rated for, and does it have an IP score?
This fitting is IP20. Suitable for bathroom outside zones.

What length S15 does this take? I need one that uses 221mm.
This fitting requires a 60W S15 lamp which is 221mm in length.

When I unplug the razor or electric toothbrush from the unit, the unit is continuing to hum as if something is still plugged in. The light is working fine. Is this dangerous, and do you know how to solve this? (Turning the fuse box off for that room is the only way of stopping it currently)
The shaver point is protected by a safety isolator which may be heard to buzz or hum during normal use. This noise or interference comes the the windings within the isolating transformer which are used to isolate the 1 amp supplied at the shaver socket from the higher current on the supply. If customers find the noise a nuisance they can re-route the supply from the terminal block to the switched side of the pull cord - hence the shaver socket will only operate when the lights are switched on. This work should be carried out by a qualified electrician. We do not endorse the removal of the safety isolator - it is there for your protection.
