Is this light for wiring into mains? Can the sensor be pointed downwards somewhat? (current light/sensor mounted above & to side of door, and doesn````t detect person coming out of door) Does it operate depending upon outside light, can this level be adjusted (ie, come on only when dark...)?
Yes this is a mains fitting. The light is tiltable 75° and the sensor (120° horizontal detection) is attached to this by another hinge so will be suitable for your use. Operation can be set to work when light and dark or only when dark.
