A super wide mirror measuring 1250mm wide, 50 inches, and perfect for use over wide vanity basins. No visible fixings allowing this mirror to have a floating effect. Often seen in hotels this will add real glamour and practicality to your bathroom. Of course it would also work well in a dressing area above a table as a make-up mirror.

We only suggest this mirror for areas where it will be viewed face on i.e. above a vanity, because when viewed from the side the lamps are visible. The pull cord to operate the lights is located at the bottom left of the mirror.

This mirror has a mounting frame rather than an enclosed back box which allows you to have the cable entry anyway within the frame area, our suggestion is to locate the outlet centrally. Heat/demister pads can be used with this mirror as The hanging brackets are at either end which leaves a deep and wide section where a pad can be installed. You will find demister pads in our accessories section.

IP44 rated providing protection from splashed water and suitable for zones 2 & 3.

Comes supplied with 2 x 28w T5 lamps.

Would this be suitable for over a dressing table for when I want to apply make-up?
Yes of course, this mirror is not limited for use just in the bathroom and asthetically would look great above a dressing table

I would like to install in quite a tight space, above some tiles and below an extractor fan. What is the exact size of the frame? I have a 57cm depth, does the mirror front overhang, and if yes by how much?
The mirror comes with two fixing brackets that are only approximately 400mm wide so this should allow plenty of room for what you want to do.

I need to hide cabling in the wall in preparation for installing this mirror. Can you give me an idea of where in relation to the size of the mirror would be the ideal location of a cable outlet in the wall?

What kind of light does this give - is it glaring or soft?
This mirror takes a fluorescent lamp which gives a strong crisp light.

Can heat pads be placed on this mirror to prevent misting, if so which ones would you suggest?
