Fixed LED Downlight in Aluminium

This Fixed high output LED downlight uses a semi-flush design with 15mm projection and the balance is hidden above the ceiling or flyover.

The single 3 watt LED chip generates 1141 lumens and has a 25º beam angle. It requires a 700mA supply from a LED power supply (driver).

This is a performance LED downlight and with an output of 380 lumens per watt exceeds the requirements of Part L of the building regulations approved document.

Do I need to purchase an LED driver separately for these lights and if so as I want to put a light in each alcove do I need two or is one driver able to support both? These are quite greedy little LEDs and each 3 watt fitting requires its own 3 watt LED 700ma driver. You could use a large driver to supply two fixtures but there is very little cost saving to be made. (and the LEDs would need to be wired in series).
