With its IP44 rating this fitting is equally as suited for use outdoors, install this under porches for instance.

This will provide downward lighting and is great if you do not wish to install recessed downlights into your ceiling. Use in singles or multiples as preferred.

Does this light take compact fluorescent bulbs?
Currently there is only one compact fluorescent lamp on the market that may fit inside this fitting, but as of yet we have not tried it out so could not give you a definite answer. At present we suggest a 75w ES111 lamp which can be brought via our website.
