Rise & Fall

- 26 July 2010 -

Rise and fall pendants are proving as popular as ever.  The great advantage to this light is that it can be raised and lowered exactly as and when you wish. These are several different styles and types available from Lighting Styles in finishes such as metal, ceramic and glass plus various colour finishes.

Great for installing over a dining table, when you have guests for dinner you can pull the light down and have ambient mood lighting that is subtle and soft enabling you to see your food and your fellow diners!

Push the rise and fall pendant to a higher level and the light will have a wider range, great if you're working on task items such as homework or reading at the table.

Again one of these fittings could be used at a breakfast bar, similar advantages lower for when you require soft lighting, and higher when you require more head space for preparing food on the work surface.

Remember you can also use a rise and fall pendant over a coffee table in your living room this looks great and is bang on trend, don't think they are a 70s fad that has gone out of fashion, these pendants will be around in different guises for a long time!
