Can this be used over a mirror in a bathroom? Well yes you can use this type of light on what was once called zone 3. Zone 3 would be 600mm away from the taps and any other "water holding vessel" ie bath or shower. That said if your bathroom suffers with condesation it is not a good idea to have an unrated light fitting where dripping water may be encountered.
