Can a T5 florescent light fade black cotton cloth? Cloth and other objects are damaged by Ultraviolet (UV) Light. The highest source of UV light is direct sunlight followed by daylight. Fluorescent lamps generate very little UV light and emit considerably less UV light than incandescent filament lamps.

Is this picture light also available in satin chrome finish? This picture light is only available in a nickel or antique brass finish.

Is this light suitable for dimming? Whilst it is possible to dim some fluorescent lamps the costs of dimmable ballasts are prohibitive (£100+ for the ballast alone) and so this particular fitting is NOT dimmable.

Does this light have an on/off switch on it? No the mounting does not contain a switch. You will need to switch these wall lights via a switched lighting circuit.
