Can you please tell me is the switch separate to the light I do not fully understand where it is? There are two versions of this bedside reading light: switched and unswitched. On the switched version of the fitting the switch is on the backing plate, its a small thin black switch.

Is this product certified for use in Canada? Also what is the length of the adjustable arm? The arm has a max length of 330mm. This fixture does not have UL approval. It also requires a 230v supply
