These lights, can they be converted to LED lamps and if so what would be required to do so and how many could be run off a transformer? We used to sell a satin silver version of this fitting with a cluster of 15 LED's instead of a halogen lamp. However for cost purposes this used what are known as T-type LED's which are not the most reliable. Diodes began to fail after a short period of time, and we decided to stop selling the product as it was not up to our required standards. So yes it could be used with LED's, but we would not recommend it.

I have wiring from a light switch running to under cabinet for lighting but don't know what to do to finish them, does this wire into transformer? or do i need a whole different sort of lighting? If you are going for this type of lighting using low voltage G4 capsules ten your mains wiring will feed directly into a transformer. Our 3 and 5 light installer kits come supplied with everything you will need.

Are these lights/transformer dimmable ? Yes all of our electronic transformers will dim without issue on most dimmer units. Some cheaper dimmer modules may give some noise but this is very rare.

I understand that the lights wire into the transformer. Does the transformer plug directly into an electric outlet or must it be hardwired? Thank you. Nice palindrome below! Once you have wired your fittings into your transformer it must then be hardwired into your mains electric circuit.

Can you get these lights in mains voltage? Sorry but these type of under cabinet lights are only manufactured for 12v lamps. You could use a CFL fitting with a mains supply.
