With the wide range of illuminated magnifying mirrors that Lighting Styles have to offer, you should have no problems in choosing the perfect mirror for your bathroom. All of our illuminating mirrors have extending arms allowing the mirror to be moved closer to the user or moved left and right of the mounting plate. All mirror tilt up and down to suit users of differing heights.
Notes on magnification levels.
As we get older the focal point of our eyesight changes. If you use reading glasses we would suggest a 5x magnification mirror. At the time of writing we have two illuminated shaving mirrors that provide this magnification, one of which is duel sided with a true image mirror on the reverse. If your eyesight is ok or you wear your glasses in the bathroom we would suggest that 3 x magnification is more appropriate – a saving mirror with x3 magnification allows the user to see more of their face in the mirror. Magnifying mirrors can be used by either men or women. They are ideal for close shaving or applying cosmetics.
Fog free?
All illuminated shaving mirrors that use a G9 or E14 tungsten lamp will demist very rapidly in a steamy bathroom. The heat from the lamp increases the temperature of the glass higher than the ambient temperature so condensation does not form on the glass.
Bathroom zones
We offer a wide range of illuminated shaving mirrors suitable for bathroom zones 2 & 3 in styles to compliment your chosen bathroom design.
Pull cord operated mirrors are the norm in zone 2 illuminated shaving mirrors but switches can be used on illuminated shaving mirrors used in zone 3.

Our illuminated bathroom mirrors are not suitable for bathroom zone 1. If you wish to have a shaving mirror in your shower cubicle or on the wall directly above a bath it cannot be powered by mains (230/240v) electric. Please note: all of our illuminated shaving mirrors need to be wired into the wall. They do not have a trailing lead or curly lead with shaver socket plug for use in a shaver socket. If you are in any doubt about how to wire in one of these illuminated shaving mirrors please consult a qualified electrician for advice.
One thing that is often overlooked when buying bathroom accessories is a good quality illuminated mirror. It's easier to shave with a wall mounted mirror, as it is flexible and easily moved to the best position.
