I have several spike lights in my garden but unfortunately some of the spikes have rotted away and I wonder if it is possible to buy replacement spikes. I'm not aware of a supplier of just the spikes. We do not carry spares - sorry.

I have 3 trees in containers which I want to highlight - can 3 of these lights be connected together or do they all require seperate connections? Also if so, can the main cable be fitted with a plug to go into an outdoor socket? They will need to be connected to a suitable IP rated transformer. In your case it would be the 150va waterproof 12v garden transformer. All 3 lights could be wired to the one transformer using an IP rated junction box, and this transformer could then be wired to a single plug for use with an outdoor socket.

To what distance can these spotlights illuminate? As these spike lights use 12v MR16 dichroic lamps the beam spread and distance depend on the beam angle used: a narrow beam lamp will throw a spot of light 20-30 feet, use a broad beam and you will evenly illuminate the average entrance door from 10 feet away.

Are the spikes on the spots removable? The fitting comes with the spike already unattached - so yes, the spike can.
