Are these lights simply wired into a three-pin plug for indoors use? I'm not an electrician, but can rewire plugs. Thanks racecar - why pick a palindrome? Yes you can happily put a 3 pin plug on the end of this flex and use them inside. Palindrome - real words typed by humans are much better than those horrid scrambled captcha graphics where you don't quite no whether to use CAPITALS or is that a Q or O... Much better to use the longest palindrome we could think of. Well done you for knowing the correct name too.

Can the spike be detatched from the lamp and the bracket be used to screw into a wall or the floor? Many Thanks Yes, in fact the light is supplied without the spike pre-affixed. The spike is threaded and a hand tightened bolt is used to hold the bracket on the the light to the spike, and the hole in the bracket could also be used for the purpose you propose.

Is it possible to have different coloured lights on these mountings either by coloured bulb or filters? This fitting takes a GU10 mains halogen lamp and we do stock coloured versions of this lamp. Please phone for details.

Can led bulbs be used with this? Yes, a GU10 LED lamp could be used in this fitting.
