Mains Voltage Spike light - long

Stainless steel lamp housing which is adjustable on a long stainless steel spike.

Not as chunky as the Oddysey but a very good fitting for the price.

Fitting supplied with a 35w mains halogen reflector lamp (GU10) but can happily be used with energy saving LED lamps too.

Lead length 2.0m and will require hard wiring in situ (ask an electrician if you are unsure)

Also supplied with a tube of oil to keep threads clean and easy to replace lamps.

I am looking for mains voltage lighting for the garden. Does this spike need to have a transformer if you use a halogen bulb with it, or is it still ok to use with mains voltage? This fitting houses a GU10 lamp holder suitable for mains voltage (GU10) halogen lamps only and cannot be used with a low voltage lamp, so cannot be used with a transformer.

What is the range of movement up and down on the head of these lights? I want to illuminate a path so I need to angle the light downwards a little. There is only 90 degrees of adjustment so it's not going to suit your needs - sorry.
