Please advise the colour temperature of the LEDs. The LED spotlight gives a crisp white light at 4000ºk so not daylight blue and not as warm as tungsten.

Will these spot lights, as they are LEDs, work with normal light sensors or would I need specialist ones. Thanks I see no reason why it cannot be connected to a dusk to dawn sensor. However this would have to fitted in the main lighting ring and cannot be incorporated within the fixture. Fitting them to a motion sensor dependable on how many times they are switched on or off this could adversely effect the life of the LEDs due to the low running costs I would opt for a dusk to dawn.

Is there any photometric data for this fitting showing the light spread? At what distance was the 300lux measured? Lamp beam data is more accurate for reflector lamps (which is what this LED lamp closely resembles) than Lumens. The LED spotlight has a 40º spread of light giving an evenly illuminated 690mm diameter cone at 1.0 metre. The 300 lux is measured at 1.0 metre distance.

RE - SAM1124X - picture appears to be aluminium finish but am only given the option to order white or blue. Is it available in aluminium? What sort of 'blue' is the blue? Yes they are both in aluminium, its the lamps that you get a choice in, being LEDs they are both a bright light, the white one being slightly brighter.
