Post mounted lights are small columns or lantern tops designed to be mounted on low brick walls, raised planters and flower beds or larger timber gate and fence posts. Cable entry is always via the bottom of the fitting and some care must be taken to ensure that the cable supplying the light is protected against water ingress. Post mounted lighting is available in with a general wide distribution or with lighting directed down towards the ground. You should consider using low glare post tops lights in areas of low light to avoid disabling users with too much light.
