Festoon Party Lights - 20 Clear Lamps

There is something special about festoon lights but old designs were flawed with flex that perished in sunlight and waterproofing that was frankly unsafe. This festoon lighting uses flat rubber cable and IP44 rated lamp holders.

Easy to use, easy to install and great for those who harp back to eating salt and vinegar crisps in the pub garden with a bottle of coke and a paper straw!

Rubber festoon cable suitable for outdoor use for periods of up to 6 weeks.  Please note whilst they can remain outside for longer periods this may limit their durability as weather conditions can deteriorate the fitting.

What is the voltage and wattage of the bulbs on this product? Also, what type of fitting? All festoon lights are 230/240 volts and supplied with 25 watt Edison screw (E27) lamps.

Will lights ref. hrd2329-000 work on 120 volt American power? This fittings come with a moulded UK 3 pin plug and require a 230V supply.

Could you let me know if we are able to make the length and spacing bespoke? I would also like to know if you have any festoon lights that you are able to clip into place on the chord? So we are able to do the spacing ourselves. Very early festoon lamp systems allowed the end user to fit the lamp holders onto the flex at self determined positions. More often than not these failed in wet weather or had issues with short circuiting. Now for your own safety they are prefitted at fixed centres with tamperproof screws. We will be adding more options of festoon lamps in longer lengths - check back soon.

Will Product L25HARRBC (red harlequin gls lamp) work with this product? Or do you stock any other red bulbs that will work with this product that are sold on there own? That lamp is a bayonet cap (B22) which will not work with the festoon party lights. This Lamp will work.

Do the bulbs give a white light or warm light? The festoon lamps are standard, low wattage incandescent lamps. They therefore provide a warm white light.

can you supply without bulbs? Er, we could take the lamps out of the box and reduce the price if that's what you want.

Can this product (Ref: GFA-WOL-20)be supplied with 15W clear bulbs instead? We only supply them with 25w lamps. We don't stock or sell a 15w E27 lamp

Does each bulb give out its full light potential or is the current shared (eg. wired in serial)? Wiring in series would be pretty pointless because if one bulb blows all will not work - rather like a cheap set of Christmas lights. So all lamps operate at the rated wattage (25w max) and are wired parallel.

Hi, am trying to locate leisuregrow festoon party lights which had plastic (i.e. on-breakable bulbs) for outside use. I wonder if these are similar? They were a similar price, I believe. Many thanks We think you may mean these gazebo lights.
