Smaller bollards i.e. 300 or 400mm high bollard are often used in domestic gardens whereas taller bollards are more suitable for driveways, walkways, car parks, etc.
Light distribution is available in a variety of different configurations in taller bollards but many provide wide and asymmetric beam giving an even and cost effective low level lighting solution for areas where pole-top and column mounted lighting is not appropriate for the space.
