Description

Traditional nautical styled outdoor wall light in a variety of finishes to suit your home.

Available in: Stainless Steel, Galvanised, Copper, Rusty Brown (new) and Black.
PLEASE note green no longer available.

There is also an option on the galvanised finish only to have a PIR sensor (See enlarged picture).

This has an 8.0 metre range (although the reflector over the lamp may restrict the sensors detection when approached from the front.

There is a override facility. 115mm diameter wall plate with twin cable outlets.

280mm diameter shade with overall projection of 460mm.

PLEASE note the Black Option comes with the underside of the light painted white to reflect the light downwards.

Is the glass clear? Can I use an energy efficient bulb with Dusk to Dawn?
The glass is clear. I think I know the lamp to which you refer but cannot comment on the suitability of a lamp outside of our range, however most energy efficient E27 lamps will fit.

What is the maximum wattage this lamp can take?
This fitting is suitable for a 60W maximum lamp.

Do these lights come with a bracket for corner use?
The fitting does not come pre-supplied with a corner bracket, however we do have a corner bracket available in a number of finished that if drilled is a perfect match for the back plate. Please call the office for more details.

Looking to purchase 4 weather proof well lights. Please can you advise if ordinary low energy light bulbs can be used.
There is enough room in the head to use most E27 compact fluorescent lamp types.

FROM THE PICTURES IT LOOKS LIKE THE LIGHT IS ANGLED, IS IT POSSIBLE FOR THEM TO HANG STRAIGHT DOWN?
This fitting does angle out. However we have access to number of different styles, from a variety of manufacturers. Please contact us and advise what finish is required and we'll find you something that matches.

Can you tell me if the override facility on the PIR model is activated by switching off and on again?
Yes indeed the override is enabled by switching off and on in quick succession.

I would like to purchase six of these lamps (galvanised version) but three are to be mounted on the corners of my house. Do you supply a suitable corner bracket, or is there a version with a corner bracket?

Yes, the main picture of this fitting is the stainless steel option.

How long does the light illuminate for
when the PIR senses movement?

Is the 8 metre range from the side and the front?
The 8 metre detection range applies when a person is walking across the detection area, not walking towards the sensor. If a person is walking towards the sensor and 1.5m to left or right of it the detection range is typically between 4-6 metres.

Time on- Approx 1 minute from initial triggering

I live in a very exposed area and winds of 60mph plus are not uncommon. The shape, unfortunately, looks like it could catch the wind and the mounting base looks small. Would your view be to look for something different?
The mounting plate is not that small and the tube is welded to the face plate. We'd suggest the use of the galvanised version and the zinc plating process makes the base material stronger.

Please can you tell me what colour the galvanised version with PIR sensor is?
The fitting is a raw galvanised finish i.e. zinc. This is a bright metal when new but it oxides to a darker grey colour when exposed to the elements.

Do you supply replacement glass for these lights. If so what price? Or do you know where I can get glass. Thank you
