Stainless Steel Up/Down with PIR Sensor

This fitting has recently been upgraded and fitted with a new type PIR sensor so we've amended our listing to reflect the changes.

Stainless steel wall mounted up/down light with built in PIR sensor. Switches on when approached making it safer for pedestrians as well as deterring unwanted visitors.

Made in stainless steel to avoid corrosion.

Supplied with mains GU10 halogen lamp. Also supplied with fixing screws and tube of oil to maintain the lustre of the brushed stainless steel.

Angle of detection 110. Comes on at an adjustable range between 10 and 20,000 lux.

PIR trigger light for an adjustable 10 seconds to 5 minutes.

Additional movement detected re-triggers light for another set period. There is no manual override (permanently on) on this light.

The maximum detection range can also be adjusted with the maximum achievable being 8m depending on weather conditions and mounting height (1.5 - 2.5m recommended).

I am looking for an external light which can also be controlled from an internal switch - presumably this is how it can be left on for up to 8 hours? Is there a recommended distance between the top of the light and the wooden soffit above? How far away will the pir pick up movement (within the 100 degree) I currently have a light which picks up cars on the road which is a nuisance as the light is on virtually all night. I look forward to hearing from you The specification on this fitting has recently changed (specifically the PIR) and our listing has been amended. It is no longer possible to override the PIR's timing, however you could install a switch to stop it coming on at all. All the other information you require should now be in the listing.

What grade of stainless steel is this fitting? Its not quite marine grade, its one less. Its comes with some oil and its recommended that you use this every 3 months.
