Adjustable IP65 Bathroom Downlight

We have been asked on many occasions for an adjustable downlight for use in zones 1 and 2 of the bathroom. This has always been a challenge because of the need to seal the tilt mechanism - well now we have found one and it's rather nice too! This will offer up to approximately 40⁰ tilt.

Choose from satin steel or white polyester powder paint finishes

Specifically designed for the 12v MR16 lamp - GU10 base mains lamps can not be used with this fitting.

The ceiling bezel and lamp housing are manufactured in die cast aluminium with silicone weather seals.

Sprung steel rat clips hold the light fixture in the ceiling fixing fold back against the body making installation easy in ceilings of up to 25mm thick.

SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) Designed and manufactured to comply with European standard EN 60598.


Kit version includes 60va transformer and Philips 60º wide flood 50w dichroic MR16 lamp.

I note that the depth is 100mm. Does this 100mm take into account the plasterboard ceiling or this is the space required between the concrete ceiling and the inside surface of the plasterboard? The 100mm stated does take into account the plasterboard.

Can the downlight be fitted with an LED lightbulb?. You can use a LED MR16 Lamp. We one of the website that can be found by clicking here

How many light units can be run from one transformer ? As the MR16 lamp comes in different wattages and transformers are available with varying capacity this is a difficult question. However using one of our SAMET60 (60va) transformers for each 50w lamp is good practice for fast installation and ongoing maintenance.
