Rodolfo Dordoni designed four wall lights for Flos in 1998. This fixture is Ovest (West). The others are Est (East), Nord (North) and Sud (South)
All provide diffused direct and indirect lighting and use Opaline white blown flashed glass to achieve this.
Available all white or with an amber filter in the base to add some coloured light below the fitting.
This light is well suited for use on stairwells as it is available with a glass dust cover that stops lint and dust collecting in the luminaire and also shields the lamp when viewed from above.
Lamp options:
Halogen
The halogen version uses an E27 tubular halogen lamp (Max 150w). The halogen version is dimmable.
Fluorescent
The fluorescent version uses a single 24w TC-L lamp for longer lamp life and lower running costs. This gives as much light as a 150w halogen lamp. The fluorescent version is not dimmable and cannot use higher or lower wattage lamps.
- Available neutral or with amber filter on base to add some interest
- Halogen (dimmable) and fluorescent (low energy) versions
- Contemporary simple design with colour filter option
- Ideal for many applications and well suited to staircases
